The medication worked!

About three weeks ago I contacted the Practice to ask for a doctor's callback for suggestions to stop my nose running - I thought newspaper dust might be responsible. I was getting through three cloth hankies a day, starting with the Telegraph Sudoku! My wife handed the callback on to me (Without telling me I was talking to the Practice Respiratory nurse!), and one quick explanation of what I was suffering and what I'd tried later, I was asked if I'd been prescribed steroid sprays? My trial prescription would be ready to collect next day - except I was shielding my wife! So the Practice nurse added my prescription to my wife's next collection, (her co-incidental repeat) and a Practice "Gofer" delivered both to us next day. The Respiratory Nurse's choice for me was Beconase spray- and I was astonished to find that within a day it had worked and I could read the paper without sneezing... Two weeks of prescription use and three weeks later I get the occasional attack of the sniffles but nowhere near a tenth as bad. I KNOW that this was an exceeding minor disorder in the Grand Scheme of Things, but it wasn't funny on top of lockdown. So my grateful thanks to the Practice Respiratory Nurse (I never did catch your name, my dear!). Good call. :-)

Fantastic help

I called the surgery asking for some help as my repeat prescription that I usually get delivered had not arrived and I was a few days without it. I was getting withdrawal symptoms and felt awful. I wasn’t sure if I needed a doctors appointment, a chat to a pharmacist, or to go to the walk-in centre. The receptionist was fantastic and went above and beyond to find out what I needed to do. She arranged an emergency prescription for me and had it read to collect almost immediately. I called at 5pm and by 5.20pm I was taking my medication! Cannot thank them enough!

Pure brilliance

The team here have been so helpful in helping me to sort out my medication during a very difficult time. They were so polite and understanding, I cannot thank them enough! So thank you for your time and complete help. You resolved my issue quickly and the couple of team members I spoke with were a pleasure to speak to. Thank you so much for all you efforts you are all amazing!
