Wiltshire Council - Health in Libraries
Around one in three adults in the UK has high blood pressure. Half of people with high blood pressure are not diagnosed or receiving treament.
Wiltshire Libraries have introduced a 'wearable wellness' initiative in Salisbury, Trowbridge and other mobile locations. They are inviting people who have not checked their BP in the last five years to borrow an at home blood pressure monitor for three weeks at a time, free of charge.
This service is available for Wiltshire Library members aged 18 and over. It is free to become a member and you can join at any library or online.
