Dear Three Chequers Patients
During these unprecedented times, we are working hard to secure the safety of our staff and provide you with essential care. Our focus will be upon urgent care and we will only be working upon critical patient needs for the foreseeable future.
As our workforce has been significantly depleted through the first wave of Covid, we have had to centralise patient facing care upon Three Swans Surgery (our 'cold' site for patients without a temperature) and the St Ann Street Surgery (our 'hot' site for patients with cough and temperature). Winterslow has had to be closed for the short term, while Porton is currently providing 'cold' services. Endless Street Surgery is our clinical phone hub and a patient free zone.
We have multiple GPs working remotely from home to provide resilience to our clinical teams. We are also in daily discussions with our colleagues in neighbouring Surgeries to coordinate services across the City.
Thank you for the understanding and supporting us through this. As the hospital is no longer accepting routine referrals for any condition, we request that all routine requests are held back until this storm is over. Normal services will resume once we are all clear.
There are a host of useful resources available online for self-managing simple conditions, and these can be accessed through our practice web page.
We will get through this together.
From The Partners, GPs and entire team at Three Chequers Medical Practice.
