Coffee Mornings

Thursday 24th October from 10.00am until 12.00pm at St Thomas' Church

Thursday 12th December from 10.00am until 12.00pm at St Thomas' House (just along the alley fro the church)

Lesley from ArtCare at Salisbury District Hospital will be attending both sessions; bringing creative activities and historic archive items connected with bone health in October and bringing archive items related to 'City Celebrations' including Christmas, carnivals and royal visits in December. 

There will also be representatives from various organisations for carers attending both coffee morning events. 

Salisbury River Park Walk

Thursday 3rd October at 1.30pm from the bridge between Five Rivers Leisure Centre and Ashley Road Green Space

Join Andy Wallis, River Park Lead for the Environment Agency, on a walk around the new River Park. The walk will last approximately 1.5 hours and the terrain will be suitable for wheelchair users. If you have any other access needs, please contact the carers team. There is a cafe at the Leisure Centre for a cup of tea afterwards should you wish to purchase one yourself. Dementia Clinics for Carers

If you care for someone who has dementia or live with the diagnosis yourself, you can book a free 45-minute appointment with a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse for expert, tailored support. These dementia clinics are being held at selected Nationwide branches across Wiltshire as part of a pilot programme as a partnership between Nationwide and Dementia UK.
