IN THE CASE OF A MEDICAL EMERGENCY DIAL 999

If you have an accident or suddenly become seriously ill outside of the surgery hours you should call 111 where there will always be a receptionist to take your call and put you in touch with the duty nurse or doctor. You should always consider dialling 999 for emergency situations such as chest pain, sudden weakness or loss of speech or acute shortness of breath.

Please do not call NHS 111 about non-urgent problems. Your call may mean that telephone lines are engaged when another patient is seriously ill and in need of urgent attention.
